Now I enjoyed reading this, only tend to call back it is one of those books where the humor is not perfectly suited for the audience. Sure some of information technology is gross potty humor but the whole line almost doctors not working hard and selling snake oil is not something kids necessarily chronicle to.
From the back encompass: "Unproblematic stories with zany cartoon art guaranteed to appoint and encourage new readers." I remember that the target audition is besides young to capeesh the kooky, gross-out humor. I come across this delightful spoof on the medical profession in an outer space setting with alien life forms more appropriate for ages eight and up. From the dorsum cover: "Simple stories with zany cartoon fine art guaranteed to engage and encourage new readers." I think that the target audience is too young to appreciate the kooky, gross-out humor. I see this delightful spoof on the medical profession in an outer space setting with conflicting life forms more appropriate for ages eight and upwards. It is sure to be a good book for younger ages to read with adults, who will no doubt laugh out loud at the ridiculous scenarios and then have to explicate what just went over the child's head. I wish I could exist a wing on that wall as the immature one stares at mom trying to make the stories relatable, then without missing a trounce replies deadpan, "Y'all're then weird."
...more Fun read with kooky sense of humour and colorful illustrations.
This is Elise Gravel at her goofiest best. Fun to read and look at this Airship Toons volume is surely a favorite for those kids who just want a book to be fun (which is what I wanted as a kid).
What a hoot!!! Irreverent fun, gotta love Dr. Bugspit!
An original children book that shows united states a weird and complete idiot doctor in a i day in his role life. Funny, absurd sense of humour and like shooting fish in a barrel one, but one that I retrieve would delight kids. I laugh a scrap myself which is probably a skillful sign. Simple enough and nothing mesmerizing about information technology, simply entertaining and worth information technology.
Ma fille le trouve très drôle. Elle aime bien les créatures.
Silly fun. Doctor Bugspit would fit right in with the anti-vax crowd.
I love this book about a pretend doctor
As evident by the other reviews, this isn't necessarily for everyone (unless you accept a sense of humor). This is perfect for beginning and reluctant readers who like actually dizzy stuff. The humor is really weird, the drawings are very playful, and it is in comic book format (word balloons, a few panels a page). I wish more kids books were this creative.Readers who like Roald Dahl and Mo Willems may want to give this a shot.

...more than I appreciate quirky, weird books, specially those for kids, and fifty-fifty moreso in a graphical environment. Yet this oddness went over my head. I doubtable the target audience might discover it funny, though I found information technology just odd. Limited color palette, decent drawings.
I am not even close to the target demographic for this volume. I love Elise Gravel'southward nonfiction books about gross animals and bugs and I think I am just going to stick with that series. I am a grand-female parent who read this book to her petty son : very funny !!!! We actually enjoyed the reading altogether!!! I highly recommend
Distinctly odd and mildly funny.
While I'm sure this book has lots of male child entreatment, I felt a bit like Nurse Giggles while reading information technology. Not so amused. While I'm sure this book has lots of boy appeal, I felt a bit like Nurse Giggles while reading information technology. Not so amused. ...more
